Stop by...have a pint
Yello' Bar has been a corner bar as far back as the 1940s, always attracting neighborhood folks and once frequented by retired sailors residing at Biddle Hall. Located on the corner of Grays Ferry and Catherine Street, the Yello'o Bar defines a what a neighborhood hang out should be: good food, good drinks, and good times.
Years ago people knew Yello' Bar as family house. In the 90s it was Pandora's Box (the sign now in place continuing a neighborhood tradition over the rear entry to the beer garden pays homage.) Then in 2007, three neighborhood guys with vision, passion and commitment opened Yello' Bar, promising to bring people of all ages, walks and colors, together again on this Philadelphia corner. Now, it's a fresh & exciting place to be with a modern flare and a welcoming atmosphere.
The casual atmosphere is constantly buzzing with energy, providing ample dining space for friends, family, and associates to come together and enjoy a delicious meal. Sit by the tall front windows watching city strollers, or settle into the warm, spacious back dining room. An informed, friendly staff takes care of newcomers and the slew of Yell'o bar regulars alike.
